Leum Engineering, Inc. was founded by Grant Leum.  In 2006, Leum Engineering, Inc. developed the Z-Deck™ truck leveler, which revolutionized the way automotive drop decks trailers are loaded.

We work with high strength steel, aluminum, stainless steel and structural fiberglass to craft the answers to loading dock problems. Projects vary from simple metal fabrication for standard loading dock embedments to specialty built platforms, integrating levelers, restraints and code compliant stairs and handrails.

Leum Engineering's corporate sales and engineering are located in Excelsior, Minnesota, just west of Minneapolis. Manufacturing is done north of Detroit, Michigan. Leum Engineering's partnerships with excellent manufacturing facilities bring flexibility and short lead-times along with delivering high quality products.

In 2008 Leum Engineering partnered with Rite Hite Corporation in the licensing and support of Genquip Truckboards and Railboards.
